RIVER ACTION:
DIRTY MONEY

The challenge:

Expose water companies profiting while poisoning our rivers - and inspire people to join the fight for clean water.

Charting the course:

Uncharted launched the ‘Pooster’ - a provocative installation made from £50 notes stained in crap pulled from rivers across the UK by our volunteers.

A press and social moment at launch featuring wild swimmers is followed by a DOOH and radio campaign, all urging people to join the March for Clean Water, where 14,000 attended, putting pressure on government to drive change.

“Uncharted helped us create a powerful and unforgettable campaign with the ‘Pooster,’ which galvanised media attention and public support for clean water - it was a dirty job, but they pulled it off!"
Charles Watson, Chairman River Action
